We have now reached one of the more lesser chartered destinations on our trip – Slano. It’s a quiet place, with mountains surrounding to hide its deep bay, sheltering it from the winds. The actual word ‘slano’ means salty, but rest assured other than the waters we taste none of that on the air or in the food. New hotels and restaurants are seemingly abundant and there’s plenty of opportunity to ride a quad, cycle, trek or just chill out on one of the beautiful beaches.
