A fantastic one way cruise along the stunning Dalmatian coast. Your days will be spent admiring beautiful island scenery, visiting historic towns, sampling local cuisine, swimming in crystal clear waters – the perfect way to see Croatia’s highlights!
Day 1 DUBROVNIK - SIPAN/SLANO
Depart from Dubrovnik Gruz harbour towards the Elaphite islands. Arrive in Sipan or Slano, both peaceful fisherman villages and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. L
Day 2 SIPAN/SLANO - MLJET - KORCULA
After breakfast, continue to Mljet to visit the National Park - two salt lakes connected by a narrow channel to the sea. Take a boat ride to St Mary's Isle in the Great Lake, where an old church and monastery are situated. After lunch, continue to Korcula, the supposed birthplace of the famous explorer and adventurer Marco Polo. Surrounded by medieval walls, Korcula resembles a miniature Dubrovnik when approached from the sea. On arrival, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour through the streets of the old town built in the shape of a fish bone and visit the numerous konobas/ taverns, restaurants, cocktail bars or night-clubs located within and around the city walls. Day 3 KORCULA - VIS
This morning you'll cruise towards Bisevo and it's stunning Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. Continue towards the island of Vis which due to its unique geographical position, was a strategic stronghold for the navy and was closed to the public until recently. Because of it's isolation from tourism and development, Vis has a special charm as ‘the Mediterranean as it once was'. Overnight in the town of Vis, situated on the northern side of the island, developed near the remains of ancient Issa, the first urban centre in Croatia. B, L
Day 4 VIS - HVAR
Your next destination is the island of Scedro, near Hvar where you will have time to relax and refresh in the clear, crystal blue water. After lunch continue on to Hvar, the longest and sunniest island in the Adriatic, a favourite destination for the international jet set. There you can find the Renaissance Cathedral with its original tower; and the oldest community theatre in Europe founded in 1612. Join a guided sightseeing tour of this special place before spending the rest of the day at your leisure. B, L
Day 5 HVAR - BOL - MAKARSKA
Today, continue to Brac and the town of Bol, a typical Dalmatian fisherman's village. Bol is best known for its famous Zlatni Rat beach (Golden Horn), a beach that is constantly changing shape due to tides and winds. After a stop for swimming continue towards Makarska which has many restaurants and bars and an interesting beach promenade. Enjoy the magic of this central spot on the Makarska Riviera, and be sure to take a walk along the city streets – with their abundance of churches and other cultural sites. Overnight in port. B, L
Day 6 MAKARSKA - PUCISCA - OMIS
This morning head towards Pucisca on the island of Brac and experience the village’s authentic Mediterranean architecture and rustic ambience. Here you will have the opportunity to visit a Stone-masonry workshop, one of the few left in Europe. After continue to Omis, a picturesque town surrounded by steep rocky cliffs, where the River Cetina flows into the Adriatic Sea, ideal for river rafting on the streams of the river. Tonight, enjoy a Captain's dinner on board. B, L, D
Day 7 OMIS - SPLIT
This morning cruise to your last port of call, Split. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Old Town and Diocletian's Palace of Split are amazing historical and cultural sights. Diocletian's Palace is over 1700 years old and was once the retirement home of Emperor Diocletian. After arrival, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of this fascinating city. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. B, L
Day 8 SPLIT
Say goodbye to your crew and new friends as you disembark after breakfast. B
