Croatian Escape 2020 (Split - Split)

DAY 1 SPLIT
Welcome to Split! Embarkation begins at 13.00hrs. Take time to see the remains of Diocletian’s Palace before meeting your fellow passengers at a welcome reception and dinner on board. (D)

DAY 2 SPLIT - KRKA NATIONAL PARK - SIBENIK
Depart Split early as you cruise towards Sibenik. After lunch disembark and take a bus to visit the magnificent waterfalls of Krka National Park which you will discover on your guided sightseeing tour. After the tour return to Sibenik where you'll enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Sibenik historical centre and visit one of the most beautiful Renaissance cathedrals of the Adriatic. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. (B, L)

DAY 3 SIBENIK - GALESNJAK - ZADAR
Leave Sibenik early and journey to Galesnjak, a small Dalmatian island where you can enjoy a swim in one of its secluded bays. Enjoy lunch on board as you cruise towards Zadar where a guided sightseeing tour of the city will showcase its incredible history. See the 16th century Port Gate, the Square of the Five Wells, the Church of St. Donat, the Roman Forum and the largest Cathedral in Dalmatia, St. Anastasia. The rest of your evening is at leisure. DAY 4 ZADAR - SALI - KORNATI NATIONAL PARK – PRIMOSTEN
Depart Zadar in the morning and cruise to Sali, a town surrounded by beautiful hills, fields, bays and inlets. Enjoy swimming in one of the secluded bays. You then continue to Kornati National Park, often referred to as a "nautical paradise” and is a rich marine eco-system comprising of 89 islands, islets and reefs. Continue to Primosten where you will have an evening at leisure to explore the small pretty streets and visit the Church of St. George. (B, L)

DAY 5 PRIMOSTEN - VIS
An early morning departure takes you to Vis, once a strategic naval base and closed to the public until recently. Upon arrival in town, join a guided sightseeing tour where you will visit the remains of the Roman thermal baths and see views of the beautiful Villae Rusticae situated along the waterfront. Tonight, indulge in a Captain’s dinner on board. (B, L, D)

DAY 6 VIS - BISEVO - HVAR - STARI GRAD
Enjoy a relaxing morning as you cruise to the small island of Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. Continue towards the sunny island of Hvar, with a swim stop in one of the many secluded bays. Discover why Hvar is a favourite holiday destination for celebrities on a guided sightseeing tour. Visit the old town with picturesque streets and the first public theatre in Europe, built in 1612. Evening at leisure in Stari Grad. (B, L)

DAY 7 STARI GRAD - BOL - SPLIT
Embrace your last morning cruising along the Dalmatian coast as you make you continue towards the island of Brac where you will have the opportunity to swim at one of the most famous beaches in Dalmatia - Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape). Visit a winery and enjoy a wine tasting whilst learning more about Dalmatian wines. This afternoon you'll arrive in the UNESCO World Heritage listed city of Split where the Old Town is built around the remains of the stunning Diocletian's Palace. A guided sightseeing tour will show you through the Roman Emperor Diocletian's retirement palace and the remnants of Split's Roman heritage. Your evening is free to enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants that line the harbour. (B, L)

DAY 8 SPLIT
Say goodbye to your crew and new friends as you disembark after breakfast. (B)
