DAY 1 Rome
Arrive in Rome and be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure to explore before gathering with your Tour Director and travelling companions for a Welcome dinner. D

DAY 2 Rome
This morning, visit the Colosseum, a symbol of Rome. After your visit, continue to see the splendid Arch of Constantine, climb the ancient Palatino Hill, overlook Circus Maximus and the Imperial Palace; and stop on the legendary Via Sacra or “Sacred way”. In the afternoon have time at leisure for more discoveries and activities on your own or join an optional tour of the Grand Piazzas & food tour. B

DAY 3 Rome
Today visit the Vatican Museums, located within that city’s boundaries. See the works of Raphael & Michelangelo and admire the Sistine chapel’s magnificent frescoes. Continue to St. Peter’s Square where some of the most important Papal ceremonies take place. In the afternoon enjoy some more free time. You might want to visit some of the chic shops, galleries, and museums or do some more sightseeing, relax in a sidewalk cafe with a glass of fine Italian wine or refreshing gelato! B

DAY 4 Rome - Assisi - Florence
Travel through the stunning panorama of Tuscany with its iconic landscapes as you make your way to Assisi, the hometown of St. Francis. Here you will take a walking tour to see the main square and visit the impressive Basilica of St. Francis. Continue to Florence for dinner and an evening at leisure. BD

DAY 5 Florence
Start the day with a city tour that begins at the majestic Piazza del Duomo to see the Cathedral crowned by Brunelleschi’s awe-inspiring Dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistery with Ghiberti’s splendid bronze “Gates of Paradise.” Then, visit the Academy of Fine Arts, where Michelangelo’s David is displayed. The tour ends at the Piazzale Michelangelo with a spectacular view over Florence. The remainder of the day is free to savour the Renaissance splendour of the Tuscan capital on your own or take an optional tour Visit of San Gimignano with wine tasting. B

DAY 6 Florence - Farrara - Venice
Drive to Pisa where you’ll view the famous Piazza del Miracoli with its Leaning Tower, Baptistery, and Duomo. Continue to Ferrara a renaissance gem in the Emilia-Romagna region, standing on the banks of the Po River. After an orientation tour of Ferrara, continue to magical Venice for dinner and a free evening. BD

DAY 7 Venice
Begin your exploration of Venice at St. Mark’s Square with a walking tour which includes visits to the St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace. Take in the amazing views of the Bell Tower and the Bridge of Sighs. After, take a boat ride to Murano Island, famous for its artistic glassware. Visit a glassblowing factory, where you will watch a demonstration of traditional Venetian glassblowing by master craftsmen. The balance of the day is at leisure to enjoy Venice on your own or join an optional Gondola serenade with Aperol spritz Venetian style drink. B

DAY 8 Venice - Opatija
Drive to the seaside town of Opatija, a gem on Croatia’s Adriatic coast, nestled along the striking Gulf of Kvarner. Your afternoon is at leisure to explore the town on your own. Perhaps take a stroll along the “Lungo Mare” seafront and enjoy beautiful views of the Gulf, sheltered by soaring mountains. Tonight, enjoy dinner with your fellow travellers. BD

DAY 9 Opatija
Enjoy a full day at leisure in the seaside town of Opatija, with its rich history, picturesque surroundings and once a gathering spot for the Austro-Hungarian nobility. Alternatively, join the optional tour to the Istrian Peninsula that begins in Pula, a strategic port since the times of the ancient Romans. Afterwards, the tour continues to the resort town of Rovinj. Tonight, return to Opatija and explore the charming town with its wealth of fine seafood restaurants. B

DAY 10 Opatija - Split
Depart today for Split along the spectacular Adriatic coast. Stop on the way for an included delicious lunch and then continue traveling past old fishing villages and new resorts, to the city of Split. Upon arrival, join a city tour featuring the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Finally, see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral. The reminder of the day is at leisure. BL

DAY 11 Split
This morning, transfer from your hotel to the port. Board your vessel from 13.00hrs and settle in to your cabin. Spend the afternoon further exploring Split before meeting your fellow passengers at a welcome reception followed by dinner on board. BD

DAY 12 Split - Brac - Hvar
Morning sail towards Bol on Brač Island, where you will discover one of the most beautiful beaches in the entire Mediterranean – “Zlatni Rat” (the Golden Horn), which is constantly changing direction due to the ocean currents. Return to the ship for lunch and set sail for Jelsa on the island of Hvar. One of the most picturesque towns on the island of Hvar; Jelsa is nestled in amongst hills dense with pine woods and the town quay extends all the way around the harbour. Walk around the town to see old stone streets, squares, churches, and parks. Enjoy a coffee in the main square and soak up the Mediterranean atmosphere of this bustling town. BL

DAY 13 Hvar - Korcula
This morning cruise down the coast with a stop in one of the many secluded coves for swimming and lunch. Arrive in Korcula and enjoy a guided walk through its narrow, cobbled streets full of history, finishing with a wine tasting at a local wine bar. Your evening is free to enjoy dinner at one of the many sea front restaurants. BL

DAY 14 Korcula - Dubrovnik
Set sail for the World Heritage listed city of Dubrovnik, known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic". Discover the treasures of this beautiful city with panoramic bus ride above the old Town before embarking on a guided walking tour of the Old Town. Afterwards the remainder of the day is yours to explore the town and surrounds, perhaps walk the city walls or take the cable car to the top of Mount Srd. BL

DAY 15 Dubrovnik - Mljet
Depart Dubrovnik for the island of Mljet to explore the National Park which encompasses five types of forest, many species of birds, and two deep lakes, Veliko Jezero (Big Lake) and Malo Jezero (Small Lake). You may wish to join your Cruise Manager for a stroll or alternatively explore on your own by hiring a bike, scooter or kayak! There is also a boat ride to St. Mary Isle to visit an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey and the 12th century Church of St. Mary. Tonight, gather back onboard for the Captain’s Dinner! BLD

DAY 16 Mljet - Hvar
Cruise this morning with a swim stop and lunch on your way back to Hvar. Arriving this time in Hvar Town, a hot spot for travellers from around the world, you cn enjoy a guided tour of the charming town, seeing the Renaissance cathedral, Turkish ramparts and the oldest community theatre in Europe. Your evening is then free to discover this cosmopolitan port town offering trendy bars mixed with Venetian architecture and plenty of restaurants. BL

DAY 17 Hvar - Split
Set sail for Split savouring one last swim stop and lunch onboard. Arriving late afternoon, embark on a guided city tour to discover this 1,700 year old World Heritage listed city and its famous Diocletian’s Palace. Also see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. BL

Your cruise concludes in Split with a departure transfer for your onward journey. B
